Moving alone to Singapore to study at Raffles was a leap of faith I took with encouragement and backing from my parents. However, gaining firsthand experience of the industry, learning how to work in teams, meeting lifelong friends and the fantastic lecturers, made the journey worth it all. My journey at Raffles can be best described in the words of Dickens, “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.”
