METRO WINS DEPARTMENT STORE OF THE YEAR – SINGAPORE AWARD 

Raffles College of Higher Education is proud to share that our industry partner METRO won the department store of the year award. Following the successes of the Little Black Dress collaboration in August 2019, the College partnered with Metro, together with renowned textile manufacturer Liberty Fabrics (London), to design a commercial fashion collection. Raffles’ Singapore college is the ONLY fashion design school in Southeast Asia and outside the U.K. to design using Liberty Fabrics. 

METRO then launched the third design challenge in 2020 – “The Little Red Dress” to create a festive collection for Chinese New Year to usher in the Year of the Golden Ox for 2021. 

We congratulate and thank METRO for giving our students these opportunities.
