ROY TAN ZIQI WINS DESIGN INTERVENTION’S YOUNG DESIGNER AWARD (YDA) 2020 

Congratulations to Raffles Interior Designer, TANG ZiQi Roy, for winning the Design Intervention’s Young Designer Award (YDA) 2020.  

The oriental modern residential concept behind the winning design of “Neoteric Oriental Residence” uses simple decoration against the black-and-white background, achieving a balance between complicated and exquisite decoration. 

“I was beyond ecstatic when I found out that I had won the Young Designer Award 2020 from Design Intervention. It was an immense honour and privilege to be bestowed such a grand award and title. It was a highlight in my education journey here at Raffles College of Higher Education. This win would not have been possible without the fantastic creative practitioners guiding me in the journey of pursuing my passion in Interior Design as well as in my participation in large-scale national competitions like the Young Designer Awards. I am confident that with this addition, my portfolio will be impressive to my future employers,” said Roy.
