Collection title: Comfort Creatures
As a child, I suffered from a kidney disorder called “Nephrotic Syndrome”. Enduring those traumatic moments, I expressed myself through art and found comfort in plush toys. Through my collection, I wish to inspire others with my healing process. Voluminous and exaggerated shapes represent the struggles I had with the condition, whereas bright colours act as a token of celebration that I am now completely cured.
