“Dada is nothing and it is everything.”

Dada is a spirit and an attitude. It gave us the courage to rebel against the mainstream and the ordinary world. My designs are based on a series of head adornments because I think that crowns are not just for royalty. To go against tradition, I believe that crowns do not necessarily have to be made of precious materials so long as the wearer appreciates them. I think that the spirit of the design and the meaning of the work is far more important. Found objects and recycled materials are also commonly used in Dada artworks. Based on this, I will be using Lego pieces, plastic bottles, and fabric scraps as some of the materials for the headpieces, with each having its own meaning.
