Tommy Hilfiger’s “Together We Create” Tote Bag Design Contest

Raffles Fashion Marketer Charis Teong, recipient of the Academic Excellence Award for her Advanced Diploma in Fashion Marketing & Management, emerged as one of the three national winners at the inaugural Tommy Hilfiger’s “Together We Create” Tote Bag Design Contest.

Her design “Unite” was inspired by the idea of uniting everyone during tough times. Charis’s illustration shows people from all over the world coming together as one – a vision to transform the world into a better place; a mission to make a change.

Another national winner was Raffles Fashion Marketer Evania Jocelin and her design, “One Stringer” was inspired by the knitting yarn which signifies the continuous length of interlocked fibres. This can be translated into the ability to stay strong together during this pandemic.

Both their designs were produced on 100% organic cotton tote bags and retailed at Tommy Hilfiger boutiques island-wide.

Proceeds from the sale of these designer tote bags went to the Save The Children initiative – Save our Education.
