Studying at Raffles, I had the opportunity to do numerous creative works in the course, including comics, illustration, and character designing. By experimenting with distinctive styles and painting forms, I have learnt a lot of painting skills that I did not know of before, such as composing a picture, expressing the characters’ personality through posture, and improving the effect of pictures by adjusting the brightness and saturation of the colours in an illustration and highlighting the key points of the picture. My one year of education at Raffles greatly improved my drawing skills and I am thankful to acquire such precious knowledge.
